Maureen Weinstein, Certified Public Accountant

Maureen has been a practicing public accountant since 2001.  With an expertise fueled by her passion for business, Maureen focuses on working with individuals and small businesses. She is an expert in businesses being taxed as an SCorporation and enjoys watching clients save tax dollars.  She is excited by the growth and evolution of the businesses she has served, and enjoys working with entrepreneurs and start-up companies.  As an owner of an SCorporation for many years in addition to her tax practice, she brings added insight and personal experience to her clients.

Maureen’s academic record is inspiring. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in 1998 from Santa Rosa Junior College, graduating with Highest Honors and as Student of the Year and the Keynote Speaker for the Business department. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2001, with a concentration in accounting, with Distinction and Cum Laude from Sonoma State University.  She passed the rigorous CPA exam on the first sitting with high marks.  She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Maureen brings her dynamic energy into her personal life as well.  She is an accomplished figure skater and has competed nationally as an adult.  She is a member of the Santa Rosa Figure Skating Club and is also a US Figure Skating Gold Level Judge. Besides skating, in her additional free time she enjoys anything Disney, Star Trek or Star Wars and loves experiencing the outdoors and traveling across the country to Florida with her husband in their small RV.
