Maureen Weinstein, Certified Public Accountant

Maureen has been a practicing public accountant since 2001. With an expertise fueled by her passion for business, Maureen focuses on working with individuals and small businesses. She is excited by the growth and evolution of the businesses she has served, and she enjoys working with entrepreneurs and start-up organizations. As an owner of two small businesses herself, she brings added insight and personal experience to her clients.

Maureen brings her dynamic energy into her personal life as well. She is an accomplished figure skater and competes nationally. She is a member of the Santa Rosa Figure Skating Club and is also a US Figure Skating Gold Level judge.

Maureen earned her Associate of Arts Degree in 1998 from Santa Rosa Junior College, graduating with Highest Honors and as Student of the Year. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2001, with Concentration in Accounting and With Distinction and Cum Laude from Sonoma State University. She is a member of CalCPA and of the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Megan Cassidy, Tax Assistant

Megan has been working with Maureen since 2017. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Santa Rosa Junior College with Highest Honors and then transferred to UC Davis, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree with Highest Honors. She is adept at working with clients due to her background in customer service. She has experience in tax, bookkeeping and payroll.

In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her pets (a black Labrador Retriever and two cats). She also has a passion for the wedding industry and spends time as a Bridal Consultant.
